Tommy McKinnon
Vice President–Community Engagement Baptist Health
Executive Director–Baptist Health Care Foundation
With 30 years of experience in strategic marketing, public relations and communications, Tommy McKinnon serves as the Vice President of Community Engagement for Baptist Health and the Executive Director of the Baptist Health Care Foundation. Tommy oversees the establishment of integrated strategies, plans, and programs designed to ensure that all advancement, communication, marketing, and public relations efforts are cohesive, consistent and effective in supporting Baptist Health’s mission and goals.
Tommy’s career has included employment with Brookwood Medical Center, HealthSouth Corporation, Miller Communications and Source Medical, all located in Birmingham, Alabama.
Tommy believes in giving back to the community through past and present service on several local and regional boards, including Centerpoint Fellowship Church, Medical Outreach Ministries, the Wellness Coalition, Girl Scouts of Alabama, YMCA Camp Chandler Board and Junior League Advisory Board. Tommy is also a member of Leadership Montgomery Class XXV.
Tommy graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He is a published novelist, avid sailor, golfer and musician. Tommy resides in Montgomery, Alabama, with his wife, Sandy, and three children—Kendall, Connor and Stinson.
Martie McEnerney, MBA, CFRE
Director of Community Development
Martie McEnerney joined Baptist Health in 2018 as Director of Community Development for the Baptist Health Care Foundation. She is a graduate of Huntingdon College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. She earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2018.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Ms. McEnerney served as Senior Development Officer with the Auburn Montgomery Office of Advancement. Her experience also includes serving as Director of Alumni Relations and the Huntingdon Fund at Huntingdon College.
She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with CFRE International and serves as Immediate Past President of the local board of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals. She is also a member of the Association of Health Care Philanthropy. She serves on the board of Meals on Wheels Central Alabama and Leadership Montgomery and is a member of Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class XXXV.
An active member of First United Methodist Church, Ms. McEnerney is married and has two grown children.
Rebecca Tidwell
Development Coordinator
Rebecca Tidwell joined Baptist Health in 2008 as the Guest Relations & Volunteer Manager for Prattville Baptist Hospital. In January 2016, she transitioned to Executive Assistant to the Foundation's Executive Director. In March 2020, Rebecca began her current role as Development Coordinator for the Foundation. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Rebecca worked for the Volunteer & Information Center / 211 Connects (currently known as Hands on River Region), as their Volunteer Coordinator.
Rebecca is a 2004 Graduate of Auburn University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education with a Minor in Business. War Eagle! She is married and has two boys.
