Generous gifts and participation from the community help achieve the mission of Baptist Health to provide the best quality care in the River Region. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available through annual community events hosted by the Foundation.
As the premier golf event in the Montgomery area, Birdies for Babies raises significant funds that directly benefit Baptist Health’s two Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Baptist Medical Center East and Baptist Medical Center South. Previous projects funded by tournament proceeds include NICU renovations, new bassinets, and specialized isolettes for our smallest of patients.

In 2024, Baptist Health Team Members once again demonstrated their generous and caring nature by supporting the Mission Makers Campaign. Mission Makers helps raise funds to support Baptist Health in many different ways. The team member emergency assistance fund helps fellow employees who find themselves facing an unexpected or catastrophic financial hardship. Numerous scholarships help provide a start to a college education or continuing education to improve job skills. Other funds help specific Baptist Health programs and departments by providing funds to purchase new technology and offset continuing education expenses. In 2024 team members set a new campaign record by pledging over $184,000 to continue the health ministries of Baptist Health.
